Let's look at Q1 first.

Unless you're totally new to the online business world, you'll have come across a huge number of business and marketing strategies...

The list goes on, and on, and on!

Don't blame it on the strategy

The truth is... all of these strategies work. You will find successful business owners using any one of these strategies.

From this we can conclude that most strategies can work.

This leads us to Q2, which can be paraphrased as:

"Why doesn't any of these strategies work for me?"

I'm going to answer that question with another question:

"Do you have a plan to make these strategies work for you?"

If you want to go to Paris, you have to plan for Paris.

Imagine if you were thinking "I'd love to go to Paris."

Now imagine if you had no plan at all. Imagine if you booked a random hotel in a random city, booked a random flight departing from a random airport, and turned up at the airport on a random day. Would you expect to end up taking a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower?

Of course not!

You'll end up wasting time and money on activities that don't give you the result you want.

But substitute "I'd love to go to Paris." with "I'd love to have a successful business." and many people will carry out random activities similar to the above, and expect to make progress somehow.

Planning is crucial to business success

Planning out your business goals may not seem like a fun thing to do (although it absolutely can be), but it's crucial if you want to have a successful business.

You need to know where you are, where you want to go, and have an action plan to help you get there.

When you have a solid action plan, you'll know what you have to work on now, what's coming up next, and what's further down the line. When you consistently work on what needs to get done each day, you'll reach your goals faster and with less effort.

Now is a great time to plan for 2022. Don't spend another year doing random stuff!
